The multi-user facility in the Chinese city of Shenyang is one of DB Schenker’s largest ongoing new construction projects. Following completion and commencement of operations in the first section of the Shenyang Logistics Center (SLC) at the end of 2016, the second section is now ready for operations.

This new section comprises 23,000 square meters, which means that the logistics space, which originally encompassed 19,000 square metres, has now more than doubled in size. As the northern Chinese city of Shenyang is renowned as an automotive hotspot, the facility primarily served companies in the car manufacturing sector when it was first completed. Now, however, it is open to customers from all vertical markets and industries.
