DB Schenker is expanding its footprint across the Americas region with a new location in Guatemala specializing in temperature-controlled airfreight. This is the second office for the logistics service provider in the Central American country, and it is based at the International Airport of the capital Guatemala City. The main focus of the team of logistics experts will be on international shipments for companies operating in the pharmaceutical industry and the perishable goods sector, both of which play a crucial role in Guatemala’s economy.

“This new location supports our growth efforts in the region and is conveniently located at La Aurora International Airport with daily cargo services to destinations in the US, the Americas and Europe,” said Victor Montiel, Country Manager DB Schenker Guatemala. The company has been represented in this Central American republic, which has a population of well over 15 million, since 1976.
