Prestigious contract: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has tasked the automotive team of DB Schenker in Australia with managing its spare parts logistics. This cooperation covers FCA’s automotive brands, which include Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Fiat, Jeep, SRT, Abarth and Mopar. The main hub is a warehouse in FCA Australia’s headquarters in Port Melbourne. There, DB Schenker will organize the receiving, storage and dispatch of goods as well as the nationwide delivery to FCA’s dealer network.

“Successfully managing the complexity of our spare parts logistics is of paramount importance so we can properly take care of our customers and expand our business,” said Steve Zanlunghi, President & CEO of FCA Australia. In the midterm, the warehouse in Melbourne will likely be complemented by forward stocking locations in Queensland and Western Australia.
