Nissens, one of the world’s biggest producers of engine coolers and air conditioning systems for automotive vehicles, recently started use of the extensive aftermarket logistics services provided by DB Schenker in Poland. The Danish manufacturer produces components for a substantial share of all cars, vans and trucks currently on the road.

Having established a warehouse facility on behalf of Nissens in the city of Poznan, DB Schenker now manages the spare parts logistics for the company's twelve eastern European markets. In addition to storage, the tasks fulfilled here also include value-added services such as labeling and packaging.

The logistics center is strategically located close to the E30 highway, between Warsaw and the border with Germany. “DB Schenker has provided Nissens Automotive with a good setup to support our concept and ensuring that our customers have the same experience no matter from where the deliveries are shipped. Uniform quality solutions are key to Nissens and our customers,” said Esben Jansen, Vice President Supply Chain for the Danish company.
